Securely collaborate and share insights.

SurveyMonkey teams, whether 3 or 3,000, are looking for ways to collaborate, gain expertise from their team, share data and insights, and utilize company assets for their surveys.
‍
Created almost 20 years ago, a lot of SurveyMonkey's features were built for individuals, we had to rethink what it means for people to work together with SurveyMonkey.  To solve this problem, we focused our team collaboration efforts on their shared libraries, collaborating more effectively, and increasing engagement across a team.

When I use SurveyMonkey, I want to leverage the data and expertise of my team to be sure I'm creating the best possible surveys and gaining the most valuable insights.

Custom Question Bank

Our research showed that teams wanted to apply a set of standard questions that people could use in their surveys. These could be used for internal benchmarking insights over time, to create consistency, and to promote properly crafted questions that would yield the best results.

We created the Custom Question Bank to address these needs. Anyone in the team can add the questions to their survey from the. Anyone in the team can add the questions to their surveys.

People Pages

People who work with teams of any size need to edit surveys and gain insights from surveys across the team. They want to understand who else is using the site, and explore trends over time.

Our users were asking questions like:‍

  • How well did this brand trend over time?
  • What are others in my org doing with SurveyMonkey?
  • What was Avir referring to from last year's Q4 report?

‍With our People page, users can connect with each other, find leaders and experts, and have immediate access to the valuable insights and expertise they can provide.

Workgroups

Workgroups help organize team members with a shared purpose to collaborate on survey projects. Team members—Admins, Users, and Contributors—can create workgroups to quickly and easily share with everyone in the group. Plus, you can manage members, assign roles, and change owner status so each team member has the right level of access to surveys.

Bulk Sharing and Transfer

Many of our features were initially built with individuals or small groups of people working together in mind. We needed to start thinking about hundreds to thousands of people, sometimes working completely independently, and sometimes together.

Imagine sharing all of your company's surveys with the team one-at-a-time? This had been a huge pain point for users for years, we finally relieved them of this burden last year by introducing a bulk selection pattern the site for the first time. We're now using it across features including Surveys, Divisions, and in our new library design

Account Verification

Account Verification adds an extra layer of security by alerting users when a new device or browser tries to log in and access their data. This helps people know their accounts are secure, and that they're gaining the full benefit of SurveyMonkey's collaboration features.
